GRACE DAY CARE STAFF
Pam Becker - Mrs. Becker has a degree in Kindergarten/Elementary
Education from the University of Wisconsin. She has worked in child care
and preschool for 32 years, 25 of those as the Director at Grace. Before
that she was an elementary teacher for seven years, earning her Wisconsin
Lifetime Teaching License. She enjoys working with the Raindrop/Sunshine
class part of the time. Mrs. Becker and her husband are avid Purdue fans
and enjoy music and the theatre.
Miss Ceciley has taken Early Childhood classes from Ivy Tech. She
has been at Grace for over 10 years, the last four as the Lead Teacher for
Sunshine Class. Miss Ceciley has a son, two
daughters, one granddaughter and two grandsons.
Mrs. Cindy has been a day care home provider and has worked at
Grace for nineteen years. She currently works with all age groups. Some of
Mrs. Cindy's grandsons have attended Grace; she loves animals and the
color purple.
Mrs. Julie has a BA degree in Elementary Education, and was an
elementary teacher for eleven years prior to coming to Grace. She has been
at Grace for 12 years and is the Lead Teacher of the Thunderbolt class
(4112-5-year olds). Both of Mrs. Julie's children attended Grace, and she
is an artist.
Mrs. Linda has worked at Grace for almost 12 years. She works with
all classes and subs for the other teachers, too. She has grown children
and a West Highland Terrier at home.
Mrs. Ann has worked for three years at Grace as a Teacher's Aide and as a
substitute. She also cares part-time for her grandsons.
Mrs. Angie has ten years experience as a cook and a degree in
Business Management. She has NRAEF Certification and has been the Head
Cook at Grace for over three years. She is the proud Grandma of Body.
Mrs. Helen has been the Bookkeeper at Grace for over 25 years. Her
Grandson now attends the Cay Care.
Our staff have had inclusion training, first aid training, and CPR
certification; also criminal history checks and drug testing. They must
completel2 hours of continuing education, and participate in universal
precautions, emergency procedures, and guidance (discipline) techniques
each year.
