GRACE DAY CARE STAFF

Anne Hough - Mrs. Anne has a Child Development Associate and a Business Management Degree from the University of Phoenix. She has worked in child care for over 24 years. She has worked in various positions in child care over the years, from a teacher's assistant, a lead teacher and an administrator. She and her husband have 4 golden retrievers. Her hobbies include scrap booking, crafts, and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys outdoor activities such as swimming, fishing, golf, and boating. She and her husband like to attend hockey, baseball, and football games. In her spare time she is a design consultant for Madison Handbags.

Ms Ceciley has taken Early Childhood classes from Ivy Tech and has her CDA credentials. She has been at Grace for almost 15 years, the last six as Lead Teacher for Sunshine Class.  Miss Ceciley has a son, two daughters, one granddaughter and two grandsons.

Mrs. Julie has a BA degree in Elementary Education, and was an elementary teacher for eleven years prior to coming to Grace. She has been at Grace for 14 years and is the Lead Teacher of the Thunderbolt class (4112-5-year olds). Both of Mrs. Julie's children attended Grace, and she is an artist.

Miss Shanna graduated from and was on the Honor Roll at Jefferson High School.  She also has taken some early childhood classes.

Miss Kristen is a volunteer who helps with the Sunshine Class on Tuesday & Thursday afternoons.  Miss Kristen graduated from Jefferson High School."

Mrs. Helen has been the Bookkeeper at Grace for over 25 years. Her Grandson now attends the Cay Care.

Miss. Stephanie  joined the Grace Staff in November 2012. She is the middle child with 3 brothers. Stephanie graduated from Jefferson High School. She enjoys her job and working with her fellow teachers.  Stephanie's hobbies include playing sports and spending time with family and friends.
 

Mrs. Barb has recently taken over the position of Grace's Cook. She has her CDA and has worked with children for several years and now has decided to step out of the classroom and work on making the children smile in a different way, through their bellies! She is having fun learning what the children like and how to make meal times exciting.


Our staff have had inclusion training, first aid training, and CPR certification; also criminal history checks and drug testing. They must complete 20 hours of continuing education, and participate in universal precautions, emergency procedures, and guidance (discipline) techniques each year.
